Blood Bike Awareness Day

On Friday 17th August 2018 (Blood Bikes Awareness Day), The PGM, the Deputy PGM and their wives attended a very well organised MBF National Blood Bikes Dedication and Handover day at the National Conference Centre Birmingham (next to the national motorbike museum)

The event was well attended by representatives of other Mark Provinces and Teams of the volunteer Blood Bikers, with their MBF supplied Bikes and Cars

R.W.Bro. Ryan Williams, Honorary Secretary of the MBF welcomed us all to the event, then we had a Blood Bikes Video Presentation followed by a talk from NABB Representatives about the connection between our two organisations.

The Grand Chaplain, V.W.Bro. Revd Bruce Harry then dedicated and blessed the vehicles present.

Deputy President of the MBF, R.W.Bro. Tony Morris ceremonially handed the keys of the vehicles to Blood Bike Teams together with a certificate.

The closing remarks by R.W.Bro. Ryan Williams stated that he hoped we felt proud of what had been achieved. Everybody in the venue felt very emotional with blood bikes and cars present and a video playing with Heather Small singing “What have you done today to make you feel proud”
